What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist teachers in delivering instruction tailored to meet the goals of students' Individual Educational Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with special education and general education teachers to share strategies for student support
- Facilitate communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and academic expectations
- Track student progress and motivate students using incentives
- Participate in meetings and professional development to enhance skills and program effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma AND one (1) year of experience supporting students, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to pass a required background search
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and web tools
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings and professional development
