- Have received a qualifying score on the Education Testing Service (ETS) paraeducator assessment
- Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university
- Have completed an apprenticeship as a paraeducator, in a program registered with the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council

Position: Special Education Para - Kite
Hours: 6.25 Hours, Monday - Friday (Includes Collaboration Hour and Start up or Bus Time)
Calendar: 190-Day
Rate: PESPA Level 3
Para Prep: 1 Hour per week

Notes: Flexibility to ride the bus. May work primarily with one student.
KITE = Kids in Therapeutic Education - provides services to students with behavioral challenges (mild to severe) within a self-contained and general education setting. Instruction focuses on behavior and academic areas.
