- Serves as the Special Projects Administrator for the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
- Acts as a representative on behalf of the Director of DD on Division-wide projects and work teams to conceive, develop and implement procedures and practices to promote an improved and integrated network of services to persons served by the Division’s programs.
- Serves as an administrative resource to senior management staff with respect to management of information, the provision of data procedures, and techniques to ensure compliance with state, federal, certification, and accreditation requirements to ensure maximum efficiency in the delivery of services to persons with developmental disabilities.
- Provides narratives and correspondence for special projects and proposals for program development and enhancement.
- Assists with the development and implementation of data collection, including the tracking of project recommendations and outcomes.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years college with course work in a social or human services field.
- Requires three (3) years progressively responsible administrative experience in health or human services organization.
- Five (5) years of professional experience communicating both verbally and in written form.
- Five (5) years of professional experience utilizing organizational and planning skills with a public or private organization.
- Five (5) years of professional experience with strategic planning, project planning and project management.
- Five (5) years of professional experience interacting with the public on behalf of a public or private organization.
- Five (5) years of professional experience conducting presentations for a public or private organization.
- Five (5) years of professional experience inputting data into databases for a public or private organization.
- Five (5) years of professional experience working with power point, excel and outlook software programs.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is seeking to hire a Special Projects Administrator. This position formulates and implements DDD policy directives which operationalize the recommendations from special projects and system reform initiatives; acts as a representative on behalf of the Director of DD on Division-wide projects and work teams to conceive, develop and implement procedures and practices to promote an improved and integrated network of services to persons served by the Division’s programs; serves as an administrative resource to senior management staff; provides narratives and correspondence for special projects and proposals for program development and enhancement; and assists with the development of and implementation of data collection.
