- Develops, implements, and monitors short and long-term projects, plans, goals, and objectives focused on achieving the sales and marketing strategic plan
- Provides guidance to the work of internal and external teams to ensure quality of products or services are delivered on schedule and within budget
- Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with all departments within the organization.
- Oversees initiatives associated with data development and gathering, identifying new needs, and maintaining existing information
- Works as a liaison for the content teams to assist with new dashboard development and identifying new and better ways to use data
- Works with content teams to execute ongoing marketing promotions; Bonus Borrows, The Club and other new promotions as developed and assigned
- Works as a liaison for the content teams to coordinate with IT on system enhancements and executions intended to automate or improve work flows
- Identifies potential new workflows or automations and explores feasibility and identifies potential workflow changes
- Conducts special studies in coordination with Marketing Intelligence involving research and analysis of complex and sensitive information; develops recommendations and alternative solutions and implements initiatives
- Initiates or maintains project milestones as needed by the business
- Selects methods and techniques to lead a project to completion
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
- Problem-solving – ability to develop recommended solutions for problems as they occur
- Assesses best approaches and pathways to ensure the needs of the business are met
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group (executives, managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts)
- Should be very flexible, well-organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team/project task force
- Time management – completing several tasks at once focused on deadlines and completion
- Experience with JIRA, Salesforce and other marketing software solutions is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar
- Minimum of three to five years related work experience
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to view computer screen for long periods of time daily
- Ability to regularly sit for extended periods of time
- Must be physically present for meetings, presentations, and training.

Position Summary:
The position of Manager, Special Projects, will organize, lead, and help execute marketing projects in conjunction with all formats, both physical and digital. In particular, the role will supervise projects during their lifecycles, which is the start to finish of a project. The role involves cross-functional interaction with the content teams to develop ideas, define processes, and managing the planning, execution and delivery of campaigns and projects related to marketing initiatives, while remaining on time and on budget. Collaboration and prioritization with other departments will be essential to ensure the needs of the business are met.
