    • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to and from school locations in the Douglas ESD service area and may be required to travel on overnight assignments.

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
    • Current knowledge of and significant experience in area of Special Education and Occupational Therapy and/or Physical Therapy and/or Assistive Technology supports.
    • Strong project management, communication and leadership skills.
    • Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations and best practices.
    • Expert demonstration and knowledge in several or all areas of the position.

      Douglas ESD is accepting applications for the position of Special Services Grant Coordinator - Oregon Technology Access Program ( OTAP) / Regional & Statewide Services for Students with Orthopedic Impairments ( RSOI). This position works 220 days per year, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, to begin July 14th, 2025.

      STARTING SALARY $81,896 - $88,649 per year (Placement is dependent on relevant verifiable experience)

      JOB SUMMARY
      The Special Services Grant Coordinator oversees statewide services supporting students with disabilities—particularly those needing assistive technology or with orthopedic impairments—under OTAP and RSOI grant requirements. The role coordinates training, resources, and consultations for educators, families, and districts to enhance access and inclusion, manages program budgets, and collaborates with local, regional, and state partners to ensure services align with best practices and student needs.
