    • Supports the systemwide implementation and administration of PSAT, SAT, AP, and IB assessments.
    • Provides professional development, quality assurance, technical support, guidance, and training to school-based administrators and testing coordinators. Develops and documents procedures and protocols related to college assessments. Develops system manuals and training materials, and/or trains staff in the proper administration of college assessments.
    • Creates processes and procedures for systemwide administration of college assessments.
    • Advises leadership regarding college assessment and readiness processes.
    • Serves as BCPS’ primary liaison to the College Board, vendors, and other agencies regarding college assessment administration and oversight.
    • Identifies and implements the process for test ordering, including fee waivers, discounts, and other cost projections for college assessments.
    • Exercises confidentiality and professional judgment in the receipt, processing, and response to important internal and external inquiries, requests, and correspondence, often of a time sensitive and critical nature.
    • Coordinates with staff within BCPS, MSDE, and other Maryland school systems to facilitate requests for missing test scores or verification of test scores.
    • Assists with the acquisition, distribution, and collection of testing materials for all local, state, and federally mandated assessments.
    • Provides ongoing support to school test coordinators before, during, and after test administrations.
    • Develops collaborative relationships with external partners in support of systemwide priorities.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
    • Three years of experience in the field of data analysis and reporting.
    • Experience in a public-school organization is preferred.
    • Master’s degree or higher degree is preferred.
    • Possession of a Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate with an Administrator I endorsement preferred.
    • Knowledge of the principles and practices of data management and reporting.
    • Knowledge of the principles and practices of educational research, measurement, assessment, and testing.
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis of data.
    • Technology competency.
    • Knowledge of and skill in the use of databases, internet, spreadsheet, word processing, and related applications.
    • Knowledge of and skill in data analysis.
    • Skill in developing and implementing programs to collect, maintain, analyze, process, and report data.
    • Skill in communicating effectively.
    • Skill in creating and preparing presentations related to assessment, data, educational accountability, and reporting.

      DEFINITION: Supports systemwide initiatives related to college assessment, including PSAT, SAT, AP, and IB. Applies professional knowledge and technical skills to conduct college assessments systemwide by training school-based personnel in test implementation and by serving as the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) liaison to the College Board.
      Provides professional development, technical support, guidance, and training to school-based administrators and testing coordinators. Develops and documents procedures and protocols related to assessments. Performs other duties as assigned.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      Education, Training and Experience:

      PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
      The work of this class is generally sedentary and performed in an office environment. Work includes the operation of office equipment, including personal computers, and occasional limited physical activities.

      CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
      Persons appointed to this class may be required to work evenings, weekends, and beyond their normally scheduled hours with little or no advanced notice.

      GRADE: Grade 08 on the BCPS OPE 12 Month payscale

      SALARY: $89,766 - $141,552

      RETIREMENT: This position is eligible for the Baltimore County Employees’ Retirement System.
