What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately enter data into internal and external systems following established timelines and standards
- Monitor, track, and enter NOMS data into the SPARS database
- Assist with follow-up for individuals who miss scheduled clinic appointments and document contact attempts
- Generate reports to support agency quality improvement initiatives
- Help establish data entry standards and address data inconsistencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in human services with 1 to 3 years of experience in mental health or related field, or a Master's degree with 0 to 2 years of experience
- At least one year of experience working as a data entry specialist
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Current State of Texas Driver License or valid license from another state with the ability to obtain a Texas license within three months
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in mental health or developmental disabilities services
- Bilingual skills, which may include a stipend of up to 6% of base salary
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent typing skills and experience with data analysis
- Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting
