      Role: Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Oncology)

      Site: Private Care at Guys, Central London - part of London Bridge Hospital

      Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Mon-Fri 0900-1730 with contribution to lates, Saturday and on-calls on a rota basis

      We're looking for a Specialist Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at Private Care at Guys, part of London Bridge Hospital currently rated "Outstanding by the CQC.

      London Bridge Hospital is one of the UKs largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.

      Main duties of the job

      The successful post holder will participate in the delivery, management and development of a high quality, proactive, cost effective, safe and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service at London Bridge Hospital: Private Care at Guys. You will work also have the opportunity to work closely with (& at times deputise for) the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology and other members of our multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that our patients are able to safely access the very latest treatments in oncology.

      Qualifications

      Essential

      • MPharm or equivalent (essential)
      • Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

      Desirable

      • Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent

      Experience

      Essential

      • Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards (post-registration)
      • Previous experience of working in Oncology
      • Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit & GMP

      Desirable

      • Mosaiq, BD Cato, Meditech knowledge
