- Degree level as a minimum plus developed specialist and practical knowledge equating to postgraduate degree/ Masters level
- Registration with HCPC as a Psychologist, ACP as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, UKCP as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist, registration as a Social Worker, registration as a Mental Health Nurse
- Further training related to mental health interventions with 0-18s
- Evidence of clinical experience of working with relevant client population (Child and Adolescent Mental Health 0-18s).
- A clear track record of managing complexity and risk whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery
- A comprehensive understanding of the changing NHS and Social Care environment and the challenges they face
- Experience of working at all levels of the system with internal and external stakeholders
- Expertise of managing and treating the client group 0-18s
- Some experience of clinical supervision
- Some experience of involvement in project work e.g. quality improvement
- Some experience of working with schools or community based clinical work

Job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated and flexible band 7 Specialist Clinician. You will work across the North Camden Community Team (NCCT) and South Camden Community Team (SCCT), in a dual role offering assessment and clinical interventions to young people aged 0-18 and their parents. Both teams are friendly multi-disciplinary teams staffed by highly experienced clinicians and part of a large and vibrant Camden Unit. North Camden is located at The Tavistock and South Camden is located at a satellite clinic in Ampthill Square. You will join two large teams consisting of Clinical, Educational and Counselling Psychologists, CBT therapists, Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, Child & Adolescent Psychotherapists, Social Workers, Nurses and Consultant Psychiatrists and many trainees on clinical placement.
Main duties of the job
This role is open to applications from Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Systemic Family Psychotherapists, Social Workers and Nurses. The successful applicant will join their respective discipline, be supervised by a senior clinician and hold a treatment caseload from within their discipline. The successful candidate will also offer CAMHS assessments and consultation and outreach to schools.
The post is 0.5 WTE (2.5 days) in each team. Thursday is an essential working day.

The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is a prominent mental health trust which combines patient services, research and consultancy with a national remit for delivering mental health-related education and training. Each clinical discipline has a Professional Lead in the Trust who facilitates regular discipline meetings, supervision and training opportunities.
