      Job Description

      The Event Specialist is responsible for playing a lead role in managing a portfolio of events and experiential activations. In this role, we are looking for someone who can support all areas of event management and execution of MLSE brand teams, corporate, Foundation, partnership, and other internal and external events. This person will be responsible for delivering compelling event experiences which will ultimately lead to deeper fan engagement, client loyalty, and satisfaction while driving a deeper connection to our brands.

      We are seeking a creative and self-motivated individual who is passionate about our teams and brands and likes to work in fast-paced environments that produce new challenges daily.

      Contract: 12- Month

      • Work closely with different business units to plan and execute events and experiential activations for both our core business and our partners.
      • Take internal and external briefs and lead end-to-end project management processes on a wide range of different projects.
      • Work closely with internal departments on a wide range of projects and events.
      • Leadership responsibility through mentorship and coaching of an Event Coordinator.
      • Keep informed with industry trends and innovative ideas to build overall event knowledge, while always staying curious to find unique and creative ways to keep events refreshed and special.
      • Develop creative event and activation pitch proposals.
      • Communicate proposals clearly and effectively to internal and external clients.
      • Ensure our programs are executed with excellence and deliver on all objectives and KPIs.
      • Simultaneously managing multiple projects.

      Qualifications

      • 3-5 years of experience in events and/or experiential marketing.
      • Strong track record of collaborating with cross-functional partners.
      • Outstanding communicator, both written and verbal.
      • Creative, problem solving, and analytical approach.
      • Self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
      • Solid understanding of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
      • Knowledge of our teams & the sports and entertainment industry.
