      Job Purpose

      Responsible for fostering new developments, which will enable TechnipFMC to remain competitive in the market. Act as a knowledge disseminator and ensure the quality, safety, and costs of the projects

      Job Description

      • Carrying out thermal-structural analyses of components and equipment;
      • Numerical modeling of the mechanical behavior of materials;
      • Analysis of structural integrity;
      • Development of research and development projects in the area of Materials;
      • Location: Tech Center Ilha do Fundão, RJ

      You are meant for this job if:

      • Mechanical, Naval or Metallurgical/Materials Engineer;
      • CREA
      • Postgraduate degree in materials engineering / materials science / metallurgical engineering (desirable);
      • Structural thermal analysis using finite element methods;

      Desirable knowledge:

      • Mechanical behavior of materials and their modeling (analytical and numerical);
      • Structural integrity analysis (BS7910 and/or API579 standards) and fracture mechanics;
      • Python programming;
      • Knowledge of ASME, API and other design codes;
      • Development of mechanical design;
      • Advanced english.
