- Structural analysis including calculation of loads, static analysis, fatigue analysis, and vibration analysis
- Evaluation of structural integrity of crane components by way of classical hand calculations and finite element method
- document generation to report analysis and correlate test results to support certification /qualification
- Govern technical files together with platform component groups (Trolleys, End carriages, Cabin/E-rooms and other Crane components)
- Platform quality process together with platform component groups.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
- Minimum 5-6 years of FEA experience preferably in material handling areas
- Experience in structural analysis of various structures, components, and assemblies as well as with static and fatigue analysis
- Robust understanding of engineering fundamentals such as material properties, free-body diagrams, structural loads and, analysis method
- Experience in utilizing some FEM software, like NX-NASTRAN, ANSYS or FEMAP
- Experience in utilizing industry CAD-PLM systems, NX/Teamcenter
- Efficient with MS Office tools like MS Excel and MS PowerPoint etc. and experience writing technical files and reports
- Added advantage for experience with computer programming languages (e.g., MATLAB) is a plus as is awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards

Component, Winch and Crane Platform is a support function for the Process Cranes and Modernisations product line. Our responsibility is to develop and maintain the process crane products and components.
We are now looking for a Structural Engineer for finite element analysis (FEA) to strengthen our team.
You are responsible for performing analysis of components, assemblies, and structures while working in an integrated team. You are familiar with crane standards and driving equations for component and structural design. You are a team player with good communication skills and fluent English language skills.
