Job Description
- Req#: REQ41431
- Source and procure materials, components, and equipment in accordance with company requirements and purchasing policies.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Process purchase orders, issue requisitions, and track orders to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier performance, including lead times, quality, and pricing.
- Assist with supplier evaluation and selection processes.
- Resolve supplier issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Support inventory management activities by monitoring stock levels and placing replenishment orders as needed.
- Assist with the implementation of purchasing initiatives and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of purchasing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
