      Employer is seeking an innovative and results-driven instructional designer with a deep understanding of design thinking methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in waste collections and/or fleet truck management operations. As an Instructional Designer, you will utilize your expertise to develop engaging and impactful learning solutions for our operations teams.       I. Job Summary

      - Design, develop, produce, and modify learning/training programs
      - Lead instructional design projects from inception to completion
      - Consult with subject matter experts and project sponsors on instructional design and learning objectives
      - Develop instructional strategies, course materials, assessment techniques, and integration of instructional technologies
      - Design and produce learning materials in various formats to support teaching, learning, and business information needs

      II. Duties and Responsibilities

      1. Project Management

      - Lead instructional design projects from start to finish
      - Enter data into database and maintain files and records
      - Consult with subject matter experts, project sponsors, and staff on instructional design and learning objectives

      2. Instructional Design

      - Develop instructional strategies and course materials
      - Utilize instructional technologies and best practices
      - Design and produce learning materials in various formats

      3. Technology Support

      - Provide specialized assistance to staff in technology tools and methods
      - Support the use of instructional software and multimedia
      - Research and recommend educational best practices and instructional resources

      4. Training Delivery

      - Design, develop, and deliver specialized workshops and training
      - Provide advanced training to employees on instructional technologies and best practices
      - Conduct assessments and analyze training effectiveness

      5. Vendor Management

      - Communicate and develop relationships with vendors
      - Provide input for vendor service/product negotiations
      - Assess quality of delivered service/product

      III. Supervisory Responsibilities

      - Coach and train staff informally and formally as needed
      - Provide input to manager on scheduling, task assignment, and performance of team members

      IV. Qualifications

      - Education: Bachelor's degree in Adult, Workforce, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, or similar area of study, or High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience
      - Experience: Five years of related experience or equivalent experience

      V. Work Environment and Essential Functions

      - Use motor coordination with finger dexterity for most of the work day
      - Exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds rarely
      - May be exposed to physical occupational risks and elements rarely
      - Normal setting for this job is an office setting
