Effectively share your lived experience as a service recipient or family member to build rapport and credibility.
Schedule, plan and facilitate monthly Peer and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) meetings in the communities.
Through information gathered at PFAC, develop strategic plans to address member, provider, and agency issues.
Develop and lead presentations and trainings to PFAC on how to access services, overview of benefits, services available, and requested health topics.
Facilitate PFAC meetings to include presentation of Cenpatico information and collection of community issues with recommendations for improvement. Prepare and execute of community work plans, meeting agendas and minutes. Meetings to be held at minimum 1 per county per quarter or as specified in contract with ADHS/DBHS.
Identify key peer and family service improvement opportunities and present recommendations to leadership.
Communicate company goals and services to individuals receiving services, family members and community advocates
Interact with participants on complaints, suggestions for improvement, and individual assessment of needs.
Represent community members, individuals receiving services, and families in management meetings regarding various behavioral health services
Maintain reports and meeting minutes on community outreach activities and Participant and Family Advisory Council meetings
Participate in community events and coordinate booth set up at sponsored events
Must be a person living with intellectual developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, and/or in recovery from substance use disorders, or be a Caregiver of a disabled person.
1 - 3+ years’ experience training and/or facilitating large groups is preferred.
Working knowledge of computer business software.

Position Purpose: Develop, coordinate, and present materials to educate consumers on our company’s mission, values, how to access care and benefits. Facilitate Participant and Family Advisory Council meetings in the communities. Meet with behavioral health recipients and family members to gather feedback on current behavioral healthcare system and present the feedback to management.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Reliable transportation as some local travel in community settings is required to assist members, when needed.
Pay Range: $46,500.00 - $79,200.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.
