Provides marketing consultation and planning services to lines of business (LOB) clients as assigned by the Director, Marketing Communications.
Meets regularly with these departments to discuss their needs and develop a plan for providing Marketing support.
Reviews dashboards for LOB clients on a monthly basis and shares with marketing team to monitor progress toward achieving business goals.
Handles planning and collaboration within the marketing department for such events as ribbon cutting, grand openings, open houses, and other special events (TDECU & Member events).
Provides market analysis as needed to LOB clients.
Works closely with the LOB, Director, Marketing Communications and agency partners to develop an annual Marketing Plan that details the type of assistance that will be provided to support those needs.
Work closely with the LOB and Director, Marketing Communications to establish annual growth and production goals for each LOB.
Monitors the progress of each LOB on an ongoing basis and works with LOB to adjust plans as needed when results do not equal or exceed the targets.
Coordinates photo/ video shoots and implementation of all marketing signage (IBMs, DSMs, ATMS, Message on Hold) for LOB clients.
Serve as main point of contact for lines of business (LOBs) on all projects, campaigns, planning and strategy
Maintain a strong business relationship with lines of business
Ensure overall line of business satisfaction is met
Attend line of business campaign and strategy meetings, and provide higher-level insight
Communicate campaign expectations and strategic goals to MarCom team, Digital Marketing team and Agency partners
Review and recommend media opportunities for lines of business and campaigns
Manage line of business goals and objectives, and communicate any changes to ensure goals and objectives are achieved
Provide the Director of Marketing Communications with a LOB annual management direction plan
Develop a critical path and manage LOB annual and quarterly goals
Work closely with TDECU’s Compliance Officer to ensure all marketing collateral, various credit union material and promotional items comply with regulatory requirements and standards
Work with Agency partner to provide campaign timelines to LOB
Review all work with Director of Marketing Communications before sending on to the LOB
Completes all mandatory compliance training within designated time frame and other compliance assignments including Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Unusual Activity Reports (UAR), and Security processes.
Implements processes as required by the Bank Secrecy Act and TDECU policies and procedures including but not limited to completing and submitting Currency Transaction Reports, being knowledgeable of signs of unusual financial activities, and reporting signs of unusual activity and/or completing reporting for Suspicious Activity Report as appropriate per procedure.
Stays abreast of changes within the credit union relating to services and procedures.
Actively participates in community relations activities and groups to represent the Credit Union.
Essential education and experience:
Essential education : Bachelors or four year degree in Marketing, Business or Communications or related field from an accredited College or University or equivalent mix of education and experience is preferred.
Essential experience:
o Level 2: 5-10 years of job related experience
Capabilities:
- Must have a solid understanding of the role of alternative marketing methods to address specific business objectives, criteria for judging creative and the elements of marketing strategy, design, testing, measurement and planning.
- Understand media planning & creative development process
- Knowledge of communication as well as traditional and new advertising channels. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
- Ability to view work strategically but with a strong detail orientation, to ensure quality, consistency and alignment.
- Ability to gather and analyze key marketing information and data for analysis, interpretation, development of business case, market plan development, budgeting and performance analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, organize, negotiate, and make important decisions.
- Must be flexible and innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
- Comfortable working independently or one-on-one with peers and key stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
