As the Marketing Specialist, you will support the Resorts World Las Vegas Marketing & Advertising team with the overall development of the brand and related programs. In this role you will have exposure to traditional and digital marketing, eCommerce, social media and public relations activities for Resorts World Las Vegas. Everyone works in EVS – If there is trash on the floor, it is your responsibility to pick it up. If it is a mess that needs more attention, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual. Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual. Primary Job Duties: – Includes, but is not limited to: Support Marketing Managers with internal and external partners, including but not limited to Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage, Retail, Nightlife, Human Resources, Entertainment, Casino Marketing, etc. Assist in creative process on marketing related areas including but not limited to: Brand, Signage, Websites, Digital & Print Advertising, Email & Collateral. Contribute to the driving force behind all aspects of the guest experience as it relates to, but not limited to entertainment, activations, opening events and weekly programming. Participate in the pre-planning of new and existing campaigns and coordinate execution efforts of projects through completion. Ensure all advertising for the hotel and owned brands is in alignment with brand standards and established guidelines. Facilitate the production of all property, display, and temporary signage in hotel public areas. Work directly with agency to facilitate project requests and completes change orders through project management tool (i.e. Basecamp). Fulfill sponsorship opportunities and activation executions as needed. Arrange photo & video shoots as needed/appropriate. Update status reports, agendas, recaps and actively participate in external meetings on a weekly basis. Control quantity and inventory of all marketing collateral and helps manage and distributes brand assets. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc. Other duties as assigned. Required: At least two years of experience in hospitality, marketing in a similar or related field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, Adobe Professional, and internet browser software. Working knowledge of print and print production process. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English. Professional appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer services skills. Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. At least 21 years of age. Preferred: College degree in Marketing or a related field. Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
