What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain confidential telephone line to provide direct assistance to Members and/or family members
- Serve as an advocate in working with providers, regulatory agencies, and other departments
- Assist members in the complaint and appeal process
- Conduct focus groups in service delivery areas to address member needs
- Educate members on covered services and preventive services available to them
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma
- 2 years experience in customer service, consumer advocacy, and/or health care systems
- Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and mental health issues
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
