- Apply sound judgement and decision-making practices based on complex financial analysis while making recommendations.
- Maintain quality relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives and explore opportunities.
- Review, prioritize and approve loan, subsidy and contribution applications while assessing financial viability.
- Manage risks by exercising prudence and due diligence while reviewing, assessing and approving applications.
- Work in partnership with clients, stakeholders, and various levels of government by offering advice, support and alternative solutions.
- Communicate decisions, interpret policies and respond to inquiries related to CMHC’s housing programs.
- Provide input to shape functional policies, products, and processes.
- Prepare briefing notes, submissions, issue papers, dockets, and responses to Ministerial and Presidential correspondence related to the delivery of CMHC’s Housing programs.
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or commerce
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction financing, real estate, financial markets and credit risk analysis.
- A demonstrated experience working with financial viability and loan approvals.
- A demonstrated experience reviewing, evaluating and prioritizing loans, subsidies and/or contribution applications.
- The ability to research issues, analyze problems, synthesize information and make recommendations.
- The ability to manage files and issues (sensitive in nature) using critical thinking and judgement.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 83038.35 to $ 103797.93 and are based on qualifications and experience.
