Managing and optimising SAP ERP modules related to production planning and inventory control, including upgrades, testing, and configuration.
Supporting day-to-day issue resolution and escalation of planning and control system problems.
Providing ERP insights related to material availability, production efficiency, and lead times through reports and dashboards.
Generating and interpreting standard Planning & Control reports (weekly and monthly).
Creating and deploying MRP and CRP training to upskill users across the Controls business.
Driving continuous improvement of MRP/CRP processes via the Rolls-Royce Management System (RRMS) and aligning with central standards.
Supporting cross-functional improvement projects and ERP change deployments.
Promoting best practice through training, knowledge sharing, and creation of standard work instructions.
Experience with SAP ERP, particularly MRP and CRP modules.
A strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
In-depth understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
Experience with SAP ERP, particularly MRP and CRP modules.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Cross-functional collaboration experience.
Understanding of planning standards and compliance in aerospace or regulated industries.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
APICS or CPIM certification (preferred)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Control Specialist to join our Control Systems Supply Chain team in Civil Aerospace at Rolls-Royce. In this role, you’ll be the subject matter expert for ERP planning processes, supporting the business with SAP MRP and CRP functionality and driving system optimisation to improve production efficiency.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders in Production, Logistics, Quality, and IT, providing daily support on planning-related issues and driving improvement initiatives to ensure planning processes are consistent, scalable, and aligned with best practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend technical ERP expertise with strategic process development.
