- Initiate, plan, execute, and control improvement projects to accomplish operations strategic goals. Develop ideal work layouts to support an end to end, cross-functional, lean and efficient manufacturing to installation process.
- Analyze existing processes and operations through conducting frequent inquiries within the field installation base and initiate proposals on cost justified improvements and develop financial justifications for process/tool improvements.
- Manage problem solving activities within engineering, manufacturing, logistics and Installations using trending data from Omnitracker, ProTrack, Ozark, etc.
- Ad vice, convince, influence, and support internal stakeholders like manu facturing and e ngin eering t eams to e nsu re b e n efits (reducing lead time, increasing quality) are realiz ed during installatio ns.
- D e ve l op “new” t ools and pro c esses with oth er teams (Intern al/e xternal) to o p e rate faster, m ore and act as lead auditor on multiple functions and teams.
- Work independent within functional policies and actively contribute to knowledge sharing efforts with the installation scope.
- Set up, drive and analyze time studies on the install process (EQ focus) to use during and as feedback improving the Equipment design.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures / efficient m eth o ds for installatio ns.
- Create and maintain technical training p ublicatio ns and installation benchmarking documentation.
- Play a k ey r ole in the im ple me ntation of n ew p r ocesses, e quipm e nt, and p r o ducts.
- Take ownership and function as the SME on new technology and act as the trainer during the roll out process.
- Bach elor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing, or m e c hanical e ngin eering or cl o s ely related.
- Experience in the On-site execution and working in field.
- 3+ years of pro gre ssive experience.
- Ad vanced kn owledge of manufacturing industry pro c esses, id eally in the m aterial handling or auto m otive industry
- Au toCAD or oth er m o d elin g / drafting exp erie nce
- Organizatio ns skills w ith the ability to w ork with min i m um directi on and c o ordinate m ultiple proje cts si m ultan e o usly.
- Stro ng interp erso nal and lead ership skills with the ability to d e ve l op p ositi ve wo rking relatio nships with oth er teams.
