      Position Summary

      Aniplex of America (a subsidiary of Sony Music Japan) is seeking an experienced Publishing Specialist to join our team which is located in Santa Monica, CA. You will be responsible for managing the assets and submitting them to first party platforms in a timely manner, in addition to maintaining a good relationship with these platforms.

      The position has a HYBRID schedule. Employees are expected to work onsite in the Santa Monica office at least 2 days per week.

      Job Responsibilities

      Under the supervision of the department manager, the candidate will perform the following duties:

      • Manage and submit all relevant assets to get a product properly rated

      • Manage and submit all relevant assets to first party platforms to prepare a product for release

      • Gather and submit materials to external facilities for physical package production

      • Responsible for managing the supply chain, inventory, and distribution of video game products and all relevant assets

      • Gather and submit marketing assets to first party platforms and rating board for approval

      • Check all promotional assets to ensure they are compliant with platform and rating guidelines

      • Create and maintain a schedule to make sure a project is on track for release

      • Stay informed and proactively seek out first party promotion opportunities

      • Maintain proper communication with internal and external teams regarding important release milestones

      • Assists the department manager in budget preparation

      • Additional relevant tasks deemed necessary by the department manager

      QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

      Your qualifications and experience should include:

      • Bachelor's Degree in entertainment related fields, or equivalent work experience

      • Over three years of relevant experience in video game publishing, production, or QA testing

      • Excellent knowledge of first party platform guidelines, tools and rating procedure

      • Experience with JIRA or similar task tracking software

      • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

      • Self-motivated, self-starter, confident, energetic, creative

      • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

      • Good time-management skills

      • Great interpersonal and communication skills

      The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $75,000 to $85,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for . The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
