What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the investigation and reporting of safety incidents to appropriate personnel
- Conduct regular visits to operational locations to assess safety conditions and needs
- Establish effective communication and relationships within the organization, advising management on safety matters
- Implement the Safety Management System effectively across the organization
- Serve as a resource for management and employees regarding exposure to infectious diseases
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in safety and risk management
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Occupational Safety and Health, or Industrial Safety preferred
- Proficiency in personal computers and associated software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
- Strong ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Capability to analyze and interpret various professional and governmental documents
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in emergency medical services or related healthcare environments
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills in diverse situations
- Effective presentation skills for communicating with groups of managers and employees
- Clean driving record in compliance with organizational guidelines
