What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate the investigation and reporting of all safety incidents to the Manager of Safety, Health, and Risk Management
- Conduct regular visits to operational locations to observe conditions and identify safety improvement needs
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization and provide counsel on safety and risk management
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Safety Management System
- Assist in the direction of employee health services regarding immunizations, testing, and post-exposure follow-up
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in safety and risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Occupational Safety and Health, or Industrial Safety preferred
- Proficient in the use of personal computers and associated software (word-processing, spreadsheets, and databases)
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence effectively
- Valid driving record that complies with employer guidelines

- Strong analytical skills to interpret regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging with diverse groups
- Proven ability to solve practical problems in dynamic environments
