What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and facilitate the investigation and reporting of safety incidents
- Conduct regular visits to operational locations to identify safety improvement needs
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with all levels of management regarding safety and risk management
- Implement the Safety Management System effectively across the organization
- Serve as a resource for management and employees on infectious disease exposures and related health services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in safety and risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Occupational Safety and Health, or Industrial Safety preferred
- Proficiency in personal computers and associated software for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Strong ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Capable of analyzing and interpreting business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in employee health services, including immunizations and testing
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety management systems
- Strong problem-solving skills in unpredictable situations
- Excellent presentation skills for communicating with groups of managers and employees
- Clean driving record compliant with organizational guidelines
