Job Description

- Provide support and assist in the development and implementation of systems, software and applications that the Extended Learning Department utilizes including, but not limited to: Eleyo, SharePoint, eLearning, Schoology, Kronos, Docuware, Microsoft Forms and Power Automate, absence management, inventory and materials management
- Function as a technical expert for internal and external stakeholders to answer support questions, resolve issues, and evaluate special requests
- Develop and implement plans to obtain and maintain a high level of functionality, usability and design structure for multiple systems utilized by the department
- Collaborate with management in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications, enhancements and upgrades to existing applications, including documenting and report tracking
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
- Establish and maintain an absence reporting system for campus staff to ensure program coverage
- Manage user system rights and create workflows for group processes
- Establish and maintain materials management/inventory system for the department
- Recommend new approaches, ideas and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
- Establish and maintain a system for records retention for department programs
- Provide ongoing assistance and support to department administration concerning continuous improvement of workflow processes
- Assist with assigned projects and tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Create and support professional development training needs using elearning and Schoology
- Develop training resources for department staff and utilize Schoology to create virtual trainings to meet department’s training requirements, including tracking of completion hours
- Provide orientation and training to staff for all modified and new systems, processes and updates
- Develop documentation for processes including standard operating procedures, job aids, manuals, reports and resources related to department systems
- Serve as a resource and assist in resolving complex questions and issues that arise
- Be proficient in multiple visual programs including Adobe Cloud Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere, WeVideo, Microsoft Office, and other video and audio editing programs
- Design, edit and publish media for the department including flyers, logos, graphics, catalogs, web content, and social media content utilizing a variety of platforms that maintains the District's brand standards and usage
- Assist department administrators with filming and editing images and videos utilizing current and emerging technologies to develop consistent and effective communication strategies that are aligned to department goals and objectives

- High School diploma or GED
- Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technology support role
- Proficient knowledge in the use of Microsoft 365, including but not limited to Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate and other applications preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrate project management, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently on tasks and projects
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Work may be subject to deadlines and require tailoring and delivering programs to meet the needs of many divergent groups. Some night and weekend activities are required.
