What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist field service technicians through inbound and outbound phone, chat, and email communications
- Provide expert guidance on automotive EV, engine, electrical, drivetrain, or infotainment systems
- Participate in an initial training program to effectively support field techs from a home office
- Utilize the latest technical data and repair strategies to resolve vehicle repair issues
- Maintain a reliable work schedule, adhering to time-sensitive queues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of recent experience as a mechanic in a full-service shop
- Two ASE certifications (or the ability to obtain them within six months of hire with reimbursement)
- Valid driver’s license
- One or more years of customer service experience in roles involving direct customer interaction
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electric vehicles (EV)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong typing skills
