What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Utilize technical experience and listening skills to assist field service technicians through inbound and outbound phone, chat, and email communication
- Specialize in automotive EV, engine, electrical, drivetrain, or infotainment systems, providing expert support for domestic vehicle repairs
- Participate in an initial training program to develop skills for effectively supporting field technicians from a home office
- Access continuous support and resources, while collaborating with fellow consultants and approachable leaders
- Handle time-sensitive customer inquiries, ensuring reliable adherence to work schedules
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of recent experience as a mechanic in a full-service shop
- Two ASE certifications (or ability to obtain them within six months of hire with reimbursement)
- Valid driver's license
- One or more years of customer service experience in roles involving direct interaction with customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electric vehicles (EV)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong typing skills
