  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Review and analyze documentation in medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures
  - Assign appropriate ICD-10 CM and HCPCS/CPT codes for inpatient, outpatient, and professional services
  - Adhere to ethical coding standards and official coding guidelines
  - Maintain a working knowledge of coding classification systems and related regulations
  - Perform data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - High school diploma required
  - Prior coding experience in ICD-10 CM and HCPCS/CPT coding in an acute care or professional services setting
  - Certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC, or completion within 6 months of employment
  - High level of experience with coding classification systems (ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS)
  - Ability to meet physical demands including frequent keyboard and mouse use for data entry
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Health Information Technology or Management program
  - Familiarity with the 3M encoder and Epic software systems
