- MRCP/FRCP or equivalent.
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of application
- Full participation in CME
- Cardiff Diploma in Dermatology
- Four years full-time post graduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part time basis) at least two of which will be in a relevant speciality training programme or as fixed term speciality trainee and at least 6 months of which must have been gained in the NHS
- Experience of participation in CPD.
- Quality/audit project experience
- ATLS / ALS provider
- Sound knowledge of NHS and Local Authority structures and systems
- Clinical supervision experience/skills
- Ability to undertake training/mentoring of clinical staff and enthusiasm for education.

Job summary
We are looking to appoint a Speciality Doctor in Dermatology to join our well established, friendly and dynamic team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. It is anticipated that these posts will support increased activity in the Department and contribute to maintaining quality of care.
With colleagues, you will provide an effective and comprehensive Dermatology Service to the population of North Derbyshire. This will involve working closely with skilled nurses, Allied Health Professionals and community-based professionals.
It is expected that the post holder will work flexibly to accommodate needs on a week to week basis so that for instance in some circumstances ward visits may be expected.
A designated consultant supervisor/mentor will oversee your education and training development, and some support for those undertaking CESR may be possible based on requirements and stage of development.
