What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process referrals and authorizations for Atrius Health patients
- Receive and respond to inbound requests (calls, emails, faxes, etc.)
- Maintain patient records and provide information to patients and specialists
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft, scheduling software, and electronic medical records
- Understand and navigate payer systems, escalating issues as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate from an accredited institution or governmental unit
- Minimum of one year in a clinical or customer service position, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge and understanding of health insurance plans
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft, scheduling software, and electronic medical records
- Excellent customer service, written, and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related service
