      What We’re Looking For:

      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with prescribers, patients, and pharmacy teams

      • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, service-focused healthcare setting

      • 5 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital environment (required)

      • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

      • Pharmacy Technician Certificate from the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy (required)

      What You Will Do:

      Serve as a liaison between prescribers, patients, and pharmacy operations to promote and coordinate pharmacy services and ensure seamless medication access.

      • Collaborate with health system and pharmacy leadership to promote pharmacy program utilization

      • Coordinate educational efforts and articulate program capabilities to stakeholders

      • Facilitate refill requests and communications between prescribers, pharmacists, and patients

      • Deliver medications and supplies to patient care areas in a timely and accurate manner

      • Compound sterile and non-sterile medications in compliance with USP and

      • Manage medication inventory: ordering, storing, rotating, and replacing as necessary

      • Enter orders, charges, and credits into the pharmacy system and maintain accurate documentation

      • Participate in quality improvement activities, inspections, and cycle counts

      • Supervise pharmacy technician staff and provide technical guidance as needed

      • Perform other duties and maintain required competencies for the position
