Welcome groups to the park in a warm and friendly manner
Assist group leaders and birthday contacts in a courteous manner with questions and complaints
Utilize Point of Sale (POS) equipment to accurately record financial transactions
Assist with the preparation and execution of group events, birthday parties, and special events hosted at Splish Splash
Partner with Sales Manager and Food and Beverage Team on group and birthday party arrivals and headcounts
Assist with confirming group and birthday party visits by calling group leaders and maintaining a monthly calendar of upcoming group visits
Manage, organize, and categorize all group visits through a shared Excel sheet
Monitor all park communication including calls and radio traffic
Maintain a clean work Main Gate operation (wiping down counters, sweeping, picking up trash, etc.) to maintain a great first impression for incoming guests
Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests
Assist in other departments as needed
All other duties assigned by leadership
Pay Rate: $17.75 / hr.
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
1+ years of related work experience in sales, marketing, or customer service role highly desired
Experience with Salesforce a plus.
Previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plus
Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with NY State Child Labor Laws
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, open to close
Must have reliable transportation to and from the scheduled shift
Ability to comply with all uniform policies
Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
Ability to handle high-pressure situations, meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable communicating directly with potential and existing customers
Must be comfortable speaking to all groups and birthday leaders
Ability to use office technology and equipment, such as PC, software, copier, and telephone
Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and remain on feet for long periods of time throughout the day
Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or more
This role will be primarily based in an office setting with frequent interaction with other outdoor park locations
Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions
Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments
