Job Description
- Req#: 2215
- Education - Mobile Crane Operator Trade Certification and Red Seal will be an asset.
- Experience - A minimum of 5 years of experience operating various types of heavy hauling.
- Certifications - Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Skills and Knowledge -
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations in crane operations.
- Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
- Willingness to travel within Canada & USA as needed.
- Safely assemble, operate, and disassemble SPMT with, pickers, boom trucks, crawler, and hydraulic cranes.
- Lift and move heavy materials and equipment based on job requirements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Actively participate in safety programs and contribute to ongoing safety initiatives.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Report any mechanical or operational issues promptly.
- Work closely with supervisors, mechanics, and team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to align on project goals.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
