Coordinating access to available services and supports available, you collaborate and build relationships with service providers, community partners, Indigenous agencies and partners, contracted agencies and foster parents. From an integrated service delivery system in the Ministry of Children and Family Development you may assist with placements, services for children, liaise and monitor contracts for services and ensure contract compliance and quality/appropriateness of services. This position will play a role in actively listening and gathering community input regarding family support needs and culturally relevant CYSN services and supports.

This position requires cultural agility, strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently within a collaborative team setting and is comfortable working in a diverse culture environment. The ability to develop effective relationships with Indigenous and non Indigenous families and communities is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills to effectively deal with a high volume of work, case management and crisis management.

If this role is aligned with your ways of knowing, being and doing, and you’d like to be a part of active reconciliation efforts within the Ministry of Children and Family Development, we invite you to apply. The Ministry of Children and Family Development is committed to reconciliation and responding to the voices and needs of the Indigenous children, youth, families and communities who we serve. As an organization, we’re committed to recruiting Indigenous employees interested in leading organizational change and developing new relationships and partnership.
