Job Description

- Develop NO master plan for capturing rich media which meet quality content standards
- Support all APs in the production of community media as per the approved annual production plan
- Review all the community contents to ensure they meet sponsorship and safeguarding standards, addressing any gaps to ensure compliance;
- Explore and experiment with innovative ways of telling stories within existing communications and approved content requirements, following quality and ethical practices;
- Work with the Sponsorship Manager and NO champions to implement Sponsorship 3.0 and other new GC initiatives
- Make a constant follow up with APs to ensure Sponsorship 2.0 products are submitted according to the approved plan.
- Build capacity of staff and volunteers in quality production of sponsorship 2.0
- Develop and share with field staff a clear guide on how to work with children, families and community to help them understand the importance of collecting authentic, heart-warming and inspiring stories
- Build staff capacity on the use of child-friendly methods and learning tools to support young people and children to express their hopes and dreams and tell their own stories about life-enriching experiences
- Develop a contextualized guide on the use of camera/ video and audio technology in a way that enhances the stories that are being captured
- Work with the APs team to contextualize sponsorship messaging and prepare a communication plan for partners, community members, families and children.
- Guide APs team on how to introduce sponsorship to partners, community groups and children;
- Guide SPPOs on how to monitor and manage ongoing community understanding and ownership of child sponsorship and design plans for continuous education and increased ownership over time
- Support new APs to integrate sponsorship messaging in the design process
- Work with SPPs and SPPOs in the identification of DIP activities which can accommodate child media production
- Guide the APs team in the design of an annual integrated plan for rich media production
- Monitor the production of the child and community media according to the plan agreed with each AP;
- Guide and Support APs in the change stories documentation and quality assurance for improved AP annual reporting
- Participate in the Categorization of Emergency and propose appropriate response to the affected RC & their families
- Follow up on a daily basis to status of RC in affected APs by emergency and submit Interim report to the Sponsorship Manager;
- Provide periodical updates to the Sponsorship Manager until end of Emergency;
- Innovate new ways of ensuring Rich media production in emergency context and participate in the development of NO guidance in regards to Sponsorship Management in the changed context

Provide guidance to APs on the integration of rich media in the existing Plans
Innovate new ways of keeping quality Sponsorship implementation in Emergency Context
Must have at least a bachelor degree in communication with a proven experience in Videography.

Work and build the capacity of other staff. Must be a committed Christian. Knowledge and/or willingness to abide by the WV child protection policy. Ability and willingness to work for longer hours, when the situation so demands. Must have good interpersonal communication skills. Work under minimum supervision
