Bachelor’s Degree in clinical nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition or a related area
Registered Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and RD eligible in the state of Arkansas
Experience working within a collegiate setting including the knowledge of NCAA, SEC and institution rules as is relates to position
Graduate degree in nutrition, exercise science or other related field
Working towards CSSD Certification
Experience working with weight restricted sports such as track and field, cross country, gymnastics, swim and dive, etc.
Experience working with a Division I baseball program, preferable within the Southeastern Conference
Experience working with student-athletes with eating disorders/disordered eating habits
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent counseling skills
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
Ability to connect with student-athletes and coaches
Ability to manage confidential information in professional manner
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before both internal and external groups

The Sports Dietitian position will oversee the nutritional needs of assigned teams by conducting individual and team nutrition education and counseling to ensure optimal wellness and sport performance. The Sports Dietician will collaborate with coaches, athletic trainers, strength coaches and other support staff as a part of sport specific performance team to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to student-athlete well-being.
Summary of Job Duties:
