- Assist with the administration and management of individual, dual, and team Intramural Sports activities.
- Assist with the scheduling of leagues and tournaments, rules revisions, and program evaluations.
- Assist with Sport Club program management and organization.
- Coordinate the management, supervision, scheduling, training, and evaluation of Sport Programs Staff. Oversee event operations and supervise staff at home events.
- Assist with risk management initiatives and the implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
- Evening supervision of Intramural and Sport Clubs activities one day a week during the Fall and Spring semester.
- Weekend supervision of Intramural and Sport Clubs activities one weekend a month during the Fall and Spring semester
This is a sports program entry-level position. The Sports Programs Ambassador is responsible for enforcing the policies and procedures of Intramural Sports and Sports Clubs. The Ambassador may work on all aspects of activity and event operations for sports programs, from officiating intramural sports to score-keeping, timekeeping, and equipment management, monitoring sports club practices and actively serving as the risk manager for these activities. We provide all training through paid meetings and paid clinics to learn rules, mechanics, positioning, and other operational duties to ensure the overall success, safety, and timeliness of each event.
