Will use and gain experience in layout, design and typography by collaborating and owning work across mobile and web products, social storytelling, video, editorial, branding, streaming and more.
Give and receive constructive criticism
Collaborate and communicate effectively across the design team and departments
The work will include everything from conception to design to being able to talk through and articulate ideas
Be able to work within a team, as well as, self manage time and responsibilities in an exciting face-paced environment
Work on a variety of projects and communication channels with different sports that will be some of the most highly visible in sports media.
Understanding of social platforms (IG, TikTok, TW, FB)
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
Understanding of livestream platforms (Twitch, YouTube)
Proactively share work, seeking feedback in an effort for improvement
Effective presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
Knowledge of the digital landscape in media, design and technology
In tune with contemporary design, internet and youth culture trends
Embody high standards and thoughtful design
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Interested & motivated to learn and grow
Be a proactive individual with contemporary sensibility.
Have an open mind, a positive attitude and a strong understanding of social/video/streaming consumption and the current youth culture landscape.
A knowledge and love of sports and sports culture a plus
Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad Student (18 years or older)
Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)

The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks.
Program date options:
Option 1: June 3rd – August 16th
Option 2: June 10th – August 23rd
Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from February through mid-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

Your New Role
This internship will be located in the Atlanta area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule.
Bleacher Report (often abbreviated as B/R) is a global digital destination for millennial sports fans creating and collaborating on content at the intersection of sports and culture. Bleacher Report's website, app, social channels, and live streams focus on sports culture for the next generation of fans. B/R is seeking a forward-thinking designer to help create digital content experiences for the next generation of sports fan. B/R and our design department plays an integral part in WBD with WBD Sports, including TNT Sports, which offers the opportunity to work on some of the most popular and exciting sports in the world.
