      POSITION SUMMARY

      We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Business Solutions Supervisor to join the South Platte Renews Business Solutions team. In this pivotal role, you will lead our outreach, marketing, and IT staff, driving the successful execution of SPR’s strategic goals and initiatives and providing administrative support to SPR’s internal and external customers.

      This position requires a broad knowledge of complex enterprise business processes, municipal governance and programs, and policies across multiple channels. We seek a professional who embodies the highest levels of discretion, communication prowess, financial acumen, and technical abilities.

      The Business Solutions Supervisor operates with significant latitude for independent judgment, initiative, and decision-making. This position must be comfortable using various computer software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Tyler New World, UKG (HRIS), and others.

      This position is located at South Platte Renew.

      As the third largest water renewal facility in Colorado, South Platte Renew (SPR) is passionate about stewardship and conservation to protect our most precious resource, water. SPR is publicly owned by the Cities of Littleton and Englewood and serves approximately 300,000 residents in Littleton, Englewood and 19 other connecting communities. The Business Solutions team is focused on providing overall administrative support to the SPR organization, including finance and procurement, communications, outreach and marketing and customer service.

      REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

      Reports to: Deputy Director – Business Solutions

      Direct Reports: Outreach and Marketing Administrator; IT Systems Administrator

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Supervision: Develops and implements Business Group strategy in line with organizational goals, while enhancing employee performance through coaching, training, competency development, talent acquisition, and policy compliance.
      • Administration: Prepares and disseminates communications; refines internal business processes; conducts trainings; liaises with internal and external stakeholders; and maintains comprehensive and accurate records.
      • Program & Project Management: Supports organizational program/project and improvements, leads project teams, and manages all aspects of project implementation, including risk mitigation and resource coordination.
      • Financial Management: Supports and assists the SPR Business Solutions Deputy Director in managing SPR's financial aspects, which may include, but are not limited to: long-term financial planning; developing and monitoring the SPR budget; coordinating and communicating funding requirements with the sewer enterprise funds; approving expenditures; maintaining records; and preparing financial reports.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Education, License, Certification, and Work Experience:

      • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration or communications.
        Formal leadership training desired.
      • Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of increasingly responsible experience in Business Administration or Communications with diverse stakeholder groups. Public sector experience is preferred.
      • Certifications and/or Licensures: Project Management certification is preferred.
      • Required Driver’s License: Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clear or acceptable MVR

      *An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant job experience may be substituted.

      WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

      Work is performed in a standard office environment, requiring sitting for extended periods of time, and occasional medium lifting (up to 30 lbs.). Job requires visual and physical capabilities to perform data entry, filing, and to work on computers and associated equipment for prolonged periods of time (5-7 hours daily).

      SALARY RANGE

      $73,600 - $110,400
