Spring 2024 - Business Technology Co-op in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:This is a co-op position which is required to do at least 3-5 alternating rotations prior to graduation. This position will be posted until 5/31/2023.
This is a hybrid opportunity.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, math, a related curriculum or an equivalent combination of education and technical training/experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
1. Codes and documents software programs in accordance with design specifications.
2. Creates unit and integration test plans.
3. Performs unit and integration testing.
4. Participates in peer code reviews.
5. Supports application deployment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
1. Good knowledge of information systems used to support manufacturing to include an understanding of integrated systems.
2. Knowledge of IT system environments/platforms and development tools preferred.
3. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide solutions.
4. Ability to interpret a variety of technical information.
5. Experience with manual and automated testing preferred.
6. Concepts of risk management, issue tracking, change management and requirements gathering preferred.
7. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
8. Excellent planning, time management and organization skills. \
9. Professional experience in quality assurance software testing as part of the development process preferred.
10. Precise attention to detail required.
11. Good consulting, client relations skills and customer service orientation.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation expertise.
13. Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, information systems, math, or computer science.
14- 3.0 GPA or higher and must include extracurricular activities that demonstrate use of interpersonal, teamwork, and leadershp skills.
15 - Must able to work 3-5 co-op rotations (Spring 2024, Fall 2024, Summer 2025 etc).
16- Must be responsible for own reliable transportation.
