      Spring 2024 Sophomore Diversity Student Summit

      (Presented by Walmart & Sam’s Club)

      Here at Walmart and Sam’s Club, we are committed to recruiting, supporting and developing exceptional students who are looking to help us power the future of retail. This 3-day summit, taking place April 12th -15th at our headquarters in Northwest Arkansas, will be an interactive experience filled with professional development workshops, networking opportunities and social engagements with leaders, associates and campus recruiters who are invested in YOUR success.       During the summit you will:

      • Meet and hear from diverse leaders and associates, including various early career alumni

      • Learn about the breadth of business areas and opportunities available at Walmart & Sam’s Club

      • Attend a wide range of professional development workshops and sessions

      • Explore the Northwest Arkansas area and learn more about the community [includes a local business expo]

      As a Marketing intern, you will help with Marketing projects and campaigns aimed towards driving great member experiences, engagement, and sales through both brick and mortar and ecommerce channels. You'll have the opportunity to bring the brand promise, "Expect Something Special" to life for members across communication channels and key cross-functional touchpoints. You will help identify and develop approaches that shift Sam's Club engagement marketing from transactional to member centric. There is a major focus on driving brand advocacy and loyalty, therefore the work impact will be huge on delivering innovative thinking.

      About Our Summer 2025 Internship Program:

      Each summer, we select the best and brightest to look under the hood of the world’s largest retailer at our Walmart & Sam’s Club Corporate Offices across multiple locations. During the 11-week program, our interns work directly with teams who are changing the way the world shops. This is the beginning of what could be an exciting career with Walmart!
