      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Support and maintain database systems primarily for Microsoft SQL Server in various environments
      - Perform routine DBA tasks including backups, performance tuning, and data migrations
      - Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines
      - Build and maintain automation scripts for database provisioning and deployment
      - Document processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for database support

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
      - 1–3 years of experience in a database administration or database-focused application support role
      - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and familiarity with other RDBMS like MySQL or PostgreSQL
      - Understanding of relational database concepts, stored procedures, and indexing strategies
      - Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and supporting tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working in a federal government IT environment
      - Exposure to Liquibase, Flyway, or similar tools for database schema versioning
      - Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
      - Interest or experience in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation
      - Working knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch or Splunk
