- Perform various aspects of the monthly financial close process, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare detailed workpapers/reconciliations and analyses for various balance sheet accounts.
- Review and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain clear, organized, and accurate documentation for all financial transactions.
- Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and reporting requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit standards.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environment
- Knowledge of accounting concepts and principles
- Ability to analyze a wide variety of data
- Self-motivated, strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability in a growing, fast-paced environment
- Experience with ERP systems

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for key functions within the financial reporting cycle, including month-end close, journal entry preparation, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Work Location: This role will need to be within a commutable distance of Scranton, PA.
Work Schedule: First Shift Hybrid - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time. 2 days work from home, 3 days in office.
Work Travel: Less than 5% domestic travel.
Compensation: Attractive annual salary of $85,000 - $90,000 plus a performance-based bonus, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.
