  What You'll Do
  • • The Senior Accountant assists with accounting of costs for the Corporation. This is a key role in helping the company maintain strong cash flows. The role is for someone who has a strong understanding of GAAP and good research skills. Will be responsible for ensuring that all financial systems requests for reports, information support, training, and system enhancements are responded to in a timely and professional manner. Supports finance staff in resolving critical close issues. Assists with account and program reconciliations and researches issues for external and government compliance audits.The Senior Accountant assists with accounting of costs for the Corporation.   Key Responsibilities
  • • Maintain balances for and be able to reconcile balances on a monthly basis for all intra- company payables and receivables.
    • Focus on process improvement over advices and intra-company process. Assist the Cost Supervisor and Finance Manager in on projects as needed. Runs monthly allocations and interfaces to the General Ledger.
    • Reconciles Cost Ledger to General Ledger.
    • Modifies reports or creates new ones as necessary to accommodate new companies, projects, reporting requirements, or new account codes.
    • Will be assigned to conduct investigations and resolve critical month end complex reconciliations.
    • Provide support to compliance and auditors, including significant research, data mining/reports, and resolution of finance systems questions as required.
    • Navigate multiple ERP systems including IFS, SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
    • Performs other duties, assignments, and special projects as required.

  Minimum Qualifications
  • • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline; or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of six (6) years' related experience.
      • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
      • Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
      • Government contracting experience.
    • Other Requirements:
      • United States citizenship required.
    • Certificates/Licenses:
      • CPA, highly desired
    • Software:
      • Knowledge in computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Technology:
      • Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.

    • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
      • USD $65,000 - 110,000
    • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
