Support the delivery of Enbridge’s Commercial Energy Conservation programs to customers and business partners in Ontario
Meet or exceed assigned Commercial savings targets in support of Enbridge’s goals.
Work independently to find/deliver technical solutions and complete custom energy efficiency calculations for assigned accounts.
Establish alliances and build operational and technical relationships with customers, at all levels in the organization, as well as business partners to facilitate the development and implementation of energy efficiency projects.
Provide accurate and timely outlooks and forecasts for in-month and year-end energy conservation delivery results for your assigned territory, customers, and business partners.
Accountable to work collaboratively and cooperatively and to lead internal cross-functional stakeholder, special projects & initiatives in support of the Commercial program strategies and delivery objectives.
Effective use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to document customer interactions, manage active lead/project, and support all aspects of DSM audit and evaluation initiatives (i.e., project verification).
Proactive outreach to assigned accounts and ability to conduct site walk-throughs to assist customers with the identification, business screening, and technical evaluation of potential energy conservation opportunities.
Attend and present energy conservation programs at customer meetings, applicable trade shows, energy forums, and events. Promoting energy conservation and representing the Enbridge brand successfully.
Provide mentorship/technical guidance to Energy Solutions Advisors (ESAs) and Senior Analyst, Account Managers, in the Energy Conservation Commercial Sales team.
Assist in identifying key threats and opportunities in the delivery of the Commercial programs for assigned segments.
Provide market intelligence and insights to the internal program design team to assist in the adjustment to current program offerings and the development of future energy conservation programs.
Post-secondary degree in Business, Engineering or related.
7+ years’ experience in energy management, commercial HVAC design, technical sales, and/or B2B sales.
Experience with energy management, demand side management, and sustainability principles including decarbonization, deep energy retrofit concepts and technologies.
Exceptional understanding of commercial HVAC systems and design.
Strong technical and analytical aptitude.
Self-motivated, self-starter, and able to operate independently but work with a team of like-minded professionals.
Customer and results focused.
Proven skills in leading and influencing without explicit authority.
Proven time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects while managing personal time.
Superior written and verbal communication ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
Confident presenter and public speaker.
Strong relationship-building, problem-solving skills, and negotiation skills.
Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP).
Office environment, light physical effort, normal visual/sensory effort
Regular visits to customer facilities and job sites to assess energy efficiency opportunities on weekly basis
Travel, including overnight, mainly within Ontario, is required. A valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record is needed.
