      We are hiring a Senior Analyst – Billing and looking for a candidate with strong technical skills who can operate within a team that is collaborative and encouraging. As a Senior Analyst – Billing, you will manage the relationship with our vendors and ensure that Enbridge bills are delivered to our customers daily.

      What You Will Do:

      • Maintain day to day relationships with vendors (Kubra, Canada Post and Accenture) including change orders, regular meetings, reporting etc.

      • Programming of monthly bill inserts and messages

      • Ensuring that testing of bills is performed nightly and meeting all obligations under the contract as it pertains to Billing and Invoicing.

      • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the monthly customer Bills, and correspondence to align with company standards and GDAR requirements. This includes working with TIS to mitigate issues impacting customer bill delivery.

      • Daily release of customer bills for EGI customer base after test bill validations have been complete and data file sent to bill print vendor.

      • Work with IT to update correspondence letters and emails as required

      • Programming of quarterly rate changes

      • Managing changes to the Security Deposit Interest Rates

      • Identify opportunities to reduce paper and increase communications through different channels

      • Support the Customer Care Team Leads with financial approvals.

      • Identify and implement process improvements and enhancements to the system to streamline the bill print process.

      • Work with vendor to identify ways to reduce back office exceptions and optimize processes

      • Acting as a Change Agent when obtaining LOEs and costs associated with major projects and initiatives that require involvement from any of our vendors

      • Maintaining evidence for SOX controls

      • Monthly tracking of metrics and reporting to management

      • Support of the Open Bill program as it pertains to bill presentment.

      • Assist in the development and implementation of measurement processes to validate the successful delivery of performance targets and customer satisfaction targets of EGI

      Who You Are:

      Required:

      • Post-secondary education in Business or related discipline with 2-3 years of work-related experience.

      • Knowledge of EGI’s billing and collections functions, processes and policies, including knowledge of related systems such as CIS, IDOX’s, DocWeb

      • Superior analytical skills using innovative problem solving, judgment and discretion

      • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and shift priorities without loss of efficiency and effectiveness

      • Demonstrated excellent customer contact experience, including being able to interface and communicate both verbally and through correspondence with customers, external organizations, business partners, etc

      • Ability to deal with stressful situations using diplomacy & tact

      • A team player, who is able to work independently to deliver results

      • Demonstrated ability to build co-operative internal and external working relationships.

      • Proven Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, i.e. EXCEL, WORD, and PowerPoint

      • Ability to travel if required

      Preferred:

      • Knowledge of affiliate relationship code, gas marketers code, gas distribution access rules and other regulatory requirements which govern the activities of the Company

      • Ability and willingness to grow, develop and evolve skills suitable for other opportunities within Customer Care
