What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and procedures for sensitive data
- Collaborate with data owners to understand data sensitivity and implement appropriate DLP solutions
- Oversee data governance standards, processes, and policies to ensure compliance and data integrity
- Monitor data quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain the Enterprise Data Catalog and manage data quality standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as Computer Science or Information Technology
- 7 or more years of experience working with data and security in IT systems
- 5 or more years of experience implementing and supporting data governance initiatives
- 3 or more years of experience in information security and/or IT risk management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One or more security-related professional certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, etc.)
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholder buy-in
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical information in business language
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and perform effectively under stress
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
