Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial, and military uses. Sikorsky helicopters are used by all five branches of the United States armed forces, along with military services and commercial operators in more than 40 nations.
THE WORK
The successful candidate for this position will operate as Labor & Employee Relations Support for Sikorsky Operations.
This individual will be responsible for partnering across HR and LR to meet team objectives and business needs.
As a key member within our Labor Relations team you will:
- Provide centralized support to the Human Resources and Labor Relations teams by performing a broad range of labor relations activities including contract administration, employee escalations and investigations, grievance and arbitration investigation, and contract negotiations planning.
- Project manage cross-functional business-driven projects and initiatives
- Review Human Resource and Labor Relations processes for continuous improvement and ensure common processes are documented and communicated to applicable users and stakeholders
- Support client area surges for represented employees with strategic and tactical Labor Relations support
- Advise, coach and train leadership on the application and administration of various collective bargaining agreements and labor relations policies
A level 3 employee is typically mid-career and has 3 to 5+ years of professional experience.Desired skills

- Experience at Sikorsky or in a manufacturing facility with represented employees

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
