      Sr Analyst Medicaid & Govt Rebate Admin

      YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      The primary responsibilities of this role, Sr Analyst Medicaid & Govt Rebate Admin, are to:

      • Process high volume of rebate payments, typically within tight and defined timeframes;
      • Analyze documents, validate and process State Medicaid rebate invoices, avoiding late payments and identifying and properly disputing claim and invoice errors;
      • Cultivates, develops and maintains productive and valuable working relationships with State Medicaid personnel and other key stakeholders;
      • Provide sub ect expertise and operational support for federal, state & supplemental rebate programs;
      • Provide insight with in-depth analytics and reporting to internal and external parties; Provide evidence of compliance for internal and external audit;
      • Conduct proper review of Formulary positioning for Contracts Compliance, consistent with Bayer external compliance, Legal and Audit Requirements;
      • Responsible for negotiating dispute resolutions with state personnel;
      • Responsible for updating and keeping Management and Business Unit colleagues informed of changes to state programs and drug placement;
      • Responsible for identifying and assisting with system updates regarding supplemental contracts, and assisting with review, documentation and formalization of Government Pricing Policies and Standard Operating Procedures;
      • Assists Finance and Controlling by providing input, feedback and intelligence to help ensure quarterly medicaid accruals are accurate;
      • Assist Government Pricing teams with their accurate and timely end-to end calculation of regular submissions to Federal agencies;
      • Partner with Commercial Contracts to understand current contracting activities;
      • Ability to identify areas for process and systems innovation and implement change that will enhance the overall effectiveness of the team;
      • Collaborate with colleagues in US Order to Cash, Contracts Administration, and Bayer Global Honors;
      • Including Shared Services colleagues in Order to Cash and Accounts Payable/ Vendor relations;
      • Partner with Government Pricing (GP) organization and Commercial Contract Strategy teams; Business Unit Controllers and Finance BPs; Bayer Accounting; Sales, Trade Relations & Market Access, Govt Reporting and Payer Mkt State and Federal Gov t entities and 3rd party suppliers (External).

      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree
      • Outstanding attention to detail and adaptability to deliver world class results across a complex network of partners, providers and stakeholders;
      • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required, along with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines;
      • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills;
      • Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment;
      • Must be able to present complex information clearly and with confidence;
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively interfacing with all levels in the company and also with external stakeholders;
      • Demonstrated proficiency in and specific knowledge and experience within US healthcare industry, Federal and State Government program administration (Medicare, Medicaid, 340B, Orphan Drug, etc), and managed healthcare in US;
      • Prior experience in SAP Vistex, Model N or other contract administration tool supporting rebates in US Healthcare industry highly preferred

      Preferred Competencies:

      • Minimum 5 years Medicaid/Medicare experience, and minimum 3 years of customer service/claims processing experience
